Meet the Breathe Body & Spa Family
Co-Owner / LMT 17096 / Yoga Instructor
Hello I'm De Lisa Van Dyke. I attended Everest Institute in Tigard, OR from 2008-2009 and received my massage therapy license in January 2010.
The whole reason I decided to go to massage school was to get an understanding of the human body so I could attend midwifery school and become the best midwife I could be. I was 5 weeks pregnant when I started massage school and was able to get first hand experience with pregnancy massage. I now specialize in pregnancy massage!
In school, I fell in love with treating the body. The biggest complaint I get from people is neck and shoulder pain. I love reading the body and relieving that pain. I also specialize in therapeutic and deep tissue massage.
Now that I'm a massage therapist and yoga instructor, I've put my dream of becoming a midwife on the back burner because I love what I do! I meet so many people and everyone's needs are different. I can find problem areas that you didn't know existed!
I've been involved in Sources Networking Group since 2014, and McMinnville Chamber of Commerce since 2016.
My goal is to improve your life whether it may be disconnecting from the world for an hour or getting in there and really working you out during yoga.
Everyone NEEDS a massage. It's not a luxury, it's ESSENTIAL! Let me read your body and improve your well-being!

I'm Kelly Van Dyke, I attended Everest University from 2015-2016. I received my massage therapy license April 2016.
My journey that has led me to massage has certainly been unlike anything I've ever experienced. For most of my adult life I've worked jobs I didn't really feel passionately about and that always bothered me. In Summer 2015 I decided I needed to change that. I realized that when I was focused on taking care of others and truly helping them, I always got more invested and enjoyed the work. Before I decided to go to school I had a little bit of knowledge about massage and knew it was something I enjoyed. So I gave an hour long massage, with no training and had an absolute blast! It was like a light bulb went off, and at that moment I knew body work is what I was truly meant to do. Going through school I had incredible instructors that taught me techniques that truly help people. I've learned so much about the body, and really found a passion in that knowledge.
I've been involved in Sources Networking Group since 2016, Young Professionals of Yamhill Valley since 2016 and McMinnville Chamber of Commerce since 2016. I was the Tunes on Tuesday Facility Coordinator for 2017 and we were presented an award for Outstanding Impact by the Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce.
At some point in the future I plan start studying for personal training certifications. Sports, fitness and just being active in general are very important parts of my life. What are dreams if we don't chase them and strive to achieve more?
I'm really excited at the thought of knowing on a daily basis I will be helping people, changing lives for the better. Come get a massage, I can't wait to start helping you on your journey!
Hi. I'm Shawna Ray. I graduated massage therapy at Everest Institute in October of 2016.
I've always known that I was meant to help others and have tried in many ways. As a CNA of 8 years plus, I contemplated going to nursing school as others told me I would excel in that field of work. But my heart wasn't in it. It was when I was going to school to become an EMT, a car accident drove me to experience my first massage. This was my calling...
Amazed by the body's ability to heal itself, let me utilize my expertise to assist this process. Let me listen to your body and your communication, combining it with my clinical education i can provide you with an effective, rejuvenating massage fit YOUR needs.
I enjoy focusing on the head, neck and shoulders, and specialize in deep tissue with incorporation of passive stretching, Swedish, trigger point and myofascial release for all those troubled areas. Book an appointment and let's get you back to self healing.

I graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts in 2014 and I have been practicing massage ever since. My style incorporates Swedish, Deep Tissue, and myofascial release with an emphasis on maintaining a soothing flow and a gentle presence throughout the session. I believe that the nurturing touch offered through massage creates a beautiful pathway for healing and every one of my sessions is individualized to meet each client’s needs. I’m happy to work with you to achieve your goals for each individual day, whether you are looking for pain relief, relaxation, or simply looking to de-stress and unwind. I want everyone to leave their massage experience feeling relaxed, restored, and comfortable in their bodies.
I am confident that massage will be a constant source of joy and inspiration for me for a long time to come. I absolutely love what I do and I hope to share my work with you!
Hi I’m Dusty and this is a little about why I do what I do. Thank you for your precious time.
I believe that the part of us that is connected to every thing in the Universe, Great Spirit, Creation is where true healing takes place, where time shifts, outlooks change and balanced flow happens. That the state of wellness is vibrant, it’s health…. it’s happy…. and the way to get there is through empowerment, exploration, openness, responsibility and freedom of choice. That in itself is a way of life and it does not come neatly packaged in a container with an easy release pull tab on it.
My journey to being a Medicine Woman is full of stories and experiences that shaped my life. One to share. In 1998 I had hip pain so bad that I was in tears half the night of the week. I went to allopathic doctors that ran tests took imaging and determined there was nothing wrong with me and sent me home with three months worth of pain medication. I tried it for a week and it didn’t even touch my pain but it made me feel groggy, sick and out of sorts. I managed with stretching but still no true relief. I found it years later 2007 in a Toning Circle (a gathering often in a circle that uses sound of voice or instrument to heal) with people I respect to this day. The searing pain lifted in the matter of moments and only the physical imbalances remained. These imbalances still needed help I still had discomfort even after this amazing relief. I found the balance and strength I needed through Massage and Yoga.
At that Toning Circle I knew that I wanted to help people who had lost hope in relief from there ailments. That couldn’t be healed through conventional medicine and were open to and in need of healing from within. I started practicing energy healing, working with my guides through meditation and energy testing. I was already in my first year of Massage School at this time and I found myself so excited that this healing touch could be so helpful and inline with my goals. The ability to help people in ways other professions were not built to do. I received my Massage License in 2008. Over the years I have studied, volunteered and interned with Medicine Women and Men. I learn from and work with healing plants. I have studied multiple massage modalities such as Myofascial Release, Thai Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Cupping, Active Motion Release. I am truly so grateful for all my teachers time and energy. I found what resonates with me and helps me and I do what I can to help others.
In a Massage Therapy Session my intention is to create a safe space to release chronic tension caused by physical/emotional trauma and the effects of a hectic life. In one session or many I hope to help you along that sometimes to long of a road to healing. I truly believe that a relaxing or target focused massage are both very Therapeutic and needed in our lives. I am totally excited to be here at Breath Body Spa lets do some bodywork!
I also love to play and for me play is a very important part of a healthy life. Mine is Hiking, Creating Art, Dance and being part of a Green and Progressive Community. Hot Springs are my weakness totally my achilles heal.

Found myself and through me striving after my goals and dreams, some doors shut only to open doors that landed me growing with the Breathe family. I've survived a hard life and through recovery, I was able to start making up for the past I've lived. I'm lucky enough to be able to offer healing to my clients. If you know me, you know that I boast in my weakness and shortcomings. Knowing fully that we are imperfect beings learning ourselves and unity with others. I feel I offer myself not only as an herbal healer, but as friend who is there to say "everything is going to be okay". The hardships we overcome are the very things that define us. I strive for the dream of being one and embracing that oneness. Even though I fall short, the greatest thing is love. Working towards love fulfilling all, and getting back up even if I may fall!
